Clear Channel Picks Up O'Franken Network

Like Fox News, Clear Channel has become the punching bag for the liberal media.

Clear Channel has more than 1,200 stations and sydnicates conservative hosts like Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and Dr. Laura.

But now Clear Channel is signing on to the new liberal radio network Air America, which airs Al O'Franken's program, among others.
Clear Channel is putting Air America on one of its Miami talk stations.

Currently, Clear Channel broadcasts Rush and Hannity on its main talk station, WIOD-610 AM.

Now Clear Channel is dumping its sports programming on the new WINZ-940 AM station in favor of Air America.

8. I had heard this before, about this Florida station that traded its

Fox Sports lineup for Air America. Perhaps, meantime, they've seen the ratings. In New York, Franken and I believe also Randi Rhodes, and the Majority Report - all beat their competition head-to-head - which includes the o'lielly/hannity contingent, and I believe, limbaugh.

Might be good to point out that you heard AAR beat the competition in New York City, if you email 'em. Dear Clear Channel - TAKE A HINT!!! AAR Means More R&R - Ratings and Revenue!!!

is the worst possible (late evening and then 9:20 in the morning, or something like that).

7. AAR has been on a Clear Channel affiliate from day one in Portland

..as hard as it is to believe. Even stranger is if you listen to that feed and in between the Democratic programming, you get commercials and public service announcements from Colin Powell and Tom Ridge!
