Wall Street is betting on a second half decline
Stocks have been sink, sink, sinking lateley, with a 100 point sell off today. Wall Street is betting on a faltering economy, in spite of all that happy news BS the Repukes put out daily.

Guess its time for more tax cuts, since the CEO's top and bottom lines look weak, they'll need more tax breaks to be able to survive.

1. Dow is down to 10,046. Almost below the 10,000 mark.
Time to attack Iran?

5. Is that a consideration to the PNAC?
They haven't treated our troops very well, and they don't seem to care how thin our troops are spread or that our borders are no longer well defended because of the war in Iraq.

7. Most likely not a consideration for them
but i don't think Shrubco could actually pull that one off, i think many Merikans have had enough of *'s wars.

11. October Surprise Is An Attack On Bushehr Nuclear Facility
The administration will argue that the timing of the attack was due to an accelerated fueling schedule at the facility.

F-117's were forward deployed to S. Korea earlier this month.

There are 5 CSG's currently deployed to Asian-Pacific region (which is unprecedented per media reports).

Strike will probably be made with F-117's and B-2 bombers. The 5 CSG's are probably to provide air cover in the event Iran attempts to retaliate against U.S. forces in the Gulf region.

The indicator that an attack is imminent will be redeployment of AWAC's to the gulf region.

http://globalsecurity.org/military/ops/iran-strikes.htm

"One potential military option that would be available to the United States includes the use of air strikes on Iranian weapons of mass destruction and missile facilities."

"The 1000-megawatt nuclear plant Bushehr would likely be the target of such strikes. According to the Nonproliferation Policy Education Center, if the facility continues its current operations, the produced spent fuel would be capable of producing 50 to 75 bombs. Also, the suspected nuclear facilities at Natanz and Arak will likely be targets of an air attack. In all, there are at least 19 suspected nuclear facilities in Iran."

"As some of the facilities are still under construction and not yet active the United States may have a window of opportunity that would allow it to destroy those locations without causing the environmental problems associated with the destruction of an active nuclear reactor."

2. White House spin:
Kerry is up in the polls lately and this is the economy reacting to that ... if you want to keep the economy strong, you must "stay the course" ... (come to think of it, they haven't used that phrase lately, have they?)

4. This is real
It's not spin. The Dow will fall below 10'000. When that happens, a shock wave like an earthquake will go through the market. The selling will continue until something changes. If Shrubco is ELECTED we will have the second great depression. If Kerry wins we can relax, but it will take a lot of work to get back to a real economy.
