So when will Reality TV enter politics?

It seems like it would be inevitable to me... Imagine if a candidate agreed to let television cameras follow them around 24/7 like the Osbournes or something. By the time the election came around, they'd be extremely popular even among people who don't normally vote.

I know we don't need more reasons to stay glued to the TV, but I think it would keep said politicians very honest.

I think people were expecting cameras following someone around to see the real backroom deals that go on with lobbyists.

If someone running for Congress had a camera crew around with them to see what goes on in a campaign - and then after an election has a camera crew follow him around to see the arm-twisting that goes on to get people to vote a certain way, it might clean up their act somewhat.

making a show called "The American Candidate" which is IIRC a reality series about people running for president.
