Edited on Thu Jul-22-04 11:16 AM by seabeyond
that just keeps popping into my head since seeing f911 monday night, that smugness and arrogance, and all those old white farts, the same ones at the country club i go to................my in laws, my father, my husbands friend. going to el paso to hang with these people at beginning of month. not a good thing with my present attitude. el paso beware, lol lol

anyway, i think we all should be getting this visual til election.

1. That would be a funny caption for a cartoon with OBL's relatives
who fled the US post 911 surrounding Bush.

2. How funny. I'm from El Paso too.
Spent a good chunk of my childhood around those a-holes at Santa Teresa CC. Went to school with their spoiled, coke-snorting, liquid-lunching kids at Coronado High School in the 80s.

Overall, though, I still think El Paso is a great town with the nicest people anywhere. Rich white people are annoying in any town.

If El Paso wasn't so hard on my allergies, I might still live there. It's certainly a lot ccheaper than San Fran!

10. i love this one. i use this al over the place
and then just go into laughter. and with whomever, and if they look like they dont know what i am talking, i get to go into a fit of laughter, busting up at bush's stupidness

another is fancypant elitist. that, whenever anyone talks or embrace stupid or going to intellectual, oh and one more

reporter asks what do you and father talk about when not politics. his reply.......pussy, and the person i say this too, look them right in the eye

this is generally when bringing up his christianity and family values

so you see, his words, cover the whole agenda for me.

5. Not "elitist", it was "some call you 'the elite'"
"Elitist" is a pejorative, suitable only for Democrats.

"The elite" is positive. Exceptional people! The best of the best! and "I call you my base".

9. But if that clip is from the Al Smith Dinner, it's supposed to be a joke.
In bad taste, but a joke nonetheless — so it probably wouldn't be a good clip for a commercial.

13. The segment in F-911 was very effective
Rich white guys all laughing and grinning while Bush calls the haves and the have-mores his base.

16. The Cons..............
treat everything we Democrats say as gospel, I think it's time to do the same to them. Let THEM stumble over themselves trying to explain things away for once. They always pull that shit on us, looking all serious, somber and holy, knowing full well that it's bullshit. It WORKS for them though, that's why they continue doing it. Maybe it's time to give them a taste of their own medicine.

18. But that's also part of the point...
...just about every "joke" W makes is in bad taste or mocking someone.
