This just boggles the mind. . .
Coming from the gym just now I saw a Ford SUV plastered with Freeper bumper stickers - "Sportsmen for Bush" etc. The one that stuck out, however, was "Ready, Aim, Fire Clinton." Nothing unusual about that, right? It's a Freeper. However, it was a BRAND NEW CAR WITH BRAND NEW BUMPERSTICKERS!!!! Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't Clinton been out of office for 3 1/2 years? Every time I think I have a handle on how insane these people are I see something like this. I have to go soak my head in icewater now, so it won't explode.

I think that some freepers are actually so appalled and ashamed of the current "president" (even though they won't admit it) that they are pretending that Clinton is still the president. Can you blame them?

7. Maybe I just wasn't prepared for this one. . .
Even around here a lot of people are scraping off their Bush-Cheney bumperstickers. My GOP workplace parking lot used to be full of them and they are all gone now, especially within the last few months. So when I see someone still embracing that old, delusional Clinton-hate so recently, it freaks me out.

6. I am not ever surprised by
anything that I see on a Freeper vehicle. I wouldn't have been surprised to see an old, fraying anti-Clinton - I used to see plenty of those around here. What I can't wrap my head around is the fact that in July of 2004 someone put a new sticker on their new car that is essentially about impeaching someone who has been out of office for 3 1/2 years.

Just that insane. It is only the wretched remnants of the Old American Republic that prevents them from further emulating their Spiritual Antecents.

9. This obsession with Clinton
3 1/2 years after leaving office is getting stalker-like. They claim to hate the Clintons yet they can hardly talk or think about anything else. And this fire Clinton bit? Fire him from what? He isn't President anymore! God these people are stupid.

It's entirely pathological. Sometimes I seriously wonder if we have an "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" type scenario going on here. I just can't think of any satisfactory explanation for their behavior outside the realm of the supernatural.

18. Umm, I didn't read that as "fire", as in pink slip.......
The context is "Fire!", as in shoot.......

Yes, they are a charming bunch

AS long as I don't have to live around 'em, or work around 'em......

Maybe we can find an island someplace just for them.....

22. I'm not so sure about that....
I haven't gone back to read your original post, but didn't you have something about also an NRA sticker, or something like that?

These people will stop at nothing to threaten and frighten.

If you or I were to do that, and insinuate we're after this abortion of a president, we'd be in jail so fast it would make our heads swim. Yet, they can put out threats like that, and it's "funny". Maybe just another frat prank.....

No, I don't think it was stupidity..... more sinister than that.....

10. They have been saying this recently on TV
The real axis of evil is Iraq, Iran, North Korea, and Clinton

The can and never will get over him. They hold him responsible for preventing them from gaining perhaps another million dollars in potential tax breaks (with compounded interest over 8 years) for someone in the average upper 1/10th of one percent.

13. Blaming Clinton is like "Groundhog Day" for freepers...
Some of us wake up and have orange juice or coffee, and check the news.

Pity the freepers -- *every* day when they wake up, they have to blame Clinton for something, anything.

20. I can do you one better
Cliched or even hateful bumper stickers are fine, but some are just dumb. New anti-Clinton bumper sticker? Really fucking dumb. But THIS takes the cake:

I grew up in central Pennsylvania. While living there, I saw cars and trucks with confederate flag bumper stickers/window stickers and Pennsylvania plates. Wrap your head around that one.

PENNSYLVANIA IS A NORTHERN FUCKING STATE!!!

Gah.

23. Funny
Just the other day I was commenting on how many Kerry/Edwards bumper stickers I see in my Downtown Cincinnati parking garage - VERY encouraging - but yesterday for the first time I saw a brand new Lexus with a brand new Bush/Cheeney 04 sticker - and I thought what a dumbass - and then the DUMBASS actually proved me right by going out the "MONTHLY CARD HOLDERS ONLY EXIT" - which is clearly marked in great big bold black letters - backed everything up trying to get his dumbass out of the wrong lane - holding up all the other monthly parkers!

So there you have it. Only one I've seen so far. Daddy must have bought him the Lexus.

31. I hear you
but I have honestly never seen a Bush/sticker on a crappy car. I have seen some very funny bumper stickers on them though like "The Republican Health Care Plan - Don't Get Sick" and one that said - "Do yourself a favor and punch a Republican today".

I'm very spiritual but I always say a blessing for someone in a runned down car with the right attitude!
