Ready to invade IraN? Vote Bush/Cheney!
Edited on Thu Jul-22-04 01:19 PM by BurtWorm
How's that for a meme to get under people's skin? It's probably true, too. Think we haven't lost enough servicepeople in Iraq? Think we haven't bungled enough post-war occupations? Think the Islamic world doesn't hate us enough?

Vote Bush/Cheney!

(See Dreyfus's blog at tompaine.org:

Yesterday the Crusader-in-Chief reprogrammed himself, substituting “Iran” for “Iraq” in the regime-change lexicon. (In yesterday’s entry here, I noted that the senior Bush administration official was cited as promising regime change in Iran if Bush is re-elected—something that ought to be on a Vote for Kerry poster.) Here’s Bush :

Mr. Bush noted in a brief Oval Office meeting with reporters that the Central Intelligence Agency had found "no direct connection between Iran and the attacks of Sept.11," but he said "We will continue to look and see if the Iranians were involved."

In his meeting with reporters on Monday, Mr. Bush seemed to suggest that despite the CIA’s appraisal, the administration believed there might in fact be an Iranian connection to Sept. 11.

"As to direct connections with September the 11th, you know we're digging into the facts to determine if there was one," he said. "We will continue to look and see if the Iranians were involved."

He also said: "I have long expressed my concerns about Iran. After all, it's a totalitarian society where free people are not allowed to, you know, exercise their rights as human beings." He said, "This has been an issue that I have been concerned about ever since I've been the president."

1. hey--last night I had a phone conversation with someone
who wants Bush to start war with Iran ASAP! What are these people thinking?

(I had called a company to get someone to come and repair my air conditioner--and I got into a conversation with the woman--she was a huge Michael Savage fan--and was telling me that Savage had said something like this on his show-and that she agreed with him 100%---I was thinking oh my God!

Shocking and upsetting and terrible!

3. And BTW, don't make any plans for your kid's future.
They'll be shipped off to war to die for oil. Ya know, diplomacy is just to difficult for these thugs, so people must die instead.
