Al Franken has become a terrific radio professional!

I admit in the beginning days of AAR I was a critic of Al and his inexperience in radio. I was wrong! I should have given Al the benefit of the doubt and the time it would require for this talented man to hone his skill. He has, and now he's stunningly effective. He's smart, well informed and is obviously researching his topics thoroughly.

Way to go Al!

7. I agree...in the early days Katherine was a 1/2 timer..now she

only appears...and very effectivly...when Al gets emotional..and she wants DETAILS and FACTS...I agree...Al is going to be the MAN to follow as far at talk radio goes!!! LOVE that show!!!

I didn't hear him in the early days -- just started listening to him this week. He's got a great sense of humor and wit. I wish I could only listen to him in a format besides the internet. The nearest radio station is 100 miles west of me, out in the sticks. I guess I'll need to look into Satellite radio. It's so refreshing to hear something besides those f'ers spewing facist propaganda and hate.

anyone know how to record the show through the internet audio stream? The real player doesn't seem to have a record option. I'd love to record the shows and then rip 'em to my iPod.
