Bill O'Reilly is a devious, conniving hate mongerer
Edited on Thu Jul-22-04 01:56 PM by JohnnyRingo
But everyone already knew that.

What everyone may not have known was that he ran a poll last week: "Who is the most obnoxious pundit in America".

I was surprised to see he included himself in this poll along with the usual suspects like Franken, Carville, Moore, and Stern.
The catch was that upon voting, the results were NOT displayed, leaving us to trust O'Reilly to honestly report the "winner".

As promised, this week he reported the results....believe it or not, it ended in an amazing two way tie between Al Franken and Michael Moore! What an asshole.

Now, this leaves him an opportunity to have a "run off" poll this week...."Who is worse" Al Franken or Michael Moore.

When I saw this I realized this was his intent all along but he had to go through a prelim "poll" to get there....Now, everyone together: What an asshole..

1. Yep. I voted in that poll. No tally, at all. Then I heard him on the
radio Monday, with the "results" of the poll. What a liar.

5. That's what someone brought up yesterday on Al's show.
They said they voted but couldn't view the results, the next day O'Reilly has his own results...HHmmmm. I wonder if he was listening to Al yesterday....?

2. Here's another contest Shill O'Reilly is running
Edited on Thu Jul-22-04 02:19 PM by rocknation
On AirAmerica today, Al Franken played a clip of Shill saying that it's "false" that his "enemy Stuart Smalley" beat him in the ratings, and he's willing to give $25G to charity if someone can prove that he doesn't have the bigger audience.

Notice the weasel? Bill was beaten in ratings, not audience size--apparently, the radio industry regards them differently. The numbers came from the industry rather than Air America itself, which Bill "forgot" to mention. And is he talking about his New York City audience, or his national one? That wasn't clear in his message, either.

But Bill is wrong to blame Al anyway. Isn't he aware that in New York City, Rush Limbaugh comes on at the same time as Al, and his show starts two hours later? Of course he is--but he can't call Rush his enemy, now can he? If Bill really wants to place blame, it should be on his NYC radio station for the way he's scheduled!

P.S. Al is running a poll on his website asking: "Who is worse--Bill O'Reilly or Bill O'Reilly?"

9. OUTFOXED boldly illustrated this very point
how much of a liar he is, how totally unprofessional he is--physically threatening a guest he invited on the show who disagreed with him, talking to him as if he personally knew the guy's parents (this is the guy who's dad died in 9/11) and publically upbraided him for taking the stand that he did and shaming his mother.

I know this much--I would have hung around longer and made an attempt to have O'reilly see me in the hallway to see if the ass really would 'kick my ass' if he saw me, then have him arrested for assault and then sue him and Fox for knowingly employing such a dangerous person who made a physical threat against me--hey, isn't that a form a terrorism?
