1. I just so happened to buy the DVD
of the original Manchurian Candidate last weekend and watched it again on Sunday. Still very powerful...

I was thinking about the movie Network the other day...

And don't forget 'Bob Roberts'!

and it was absolutely chilling. I don't know that I could take the Manchurian Candidate and Network together!

7. Art imitating life! Or...

Life imitating art! Truly a visionary film. How the hell did they get it out, anyways? Oh yes, it was the 70's, things were in FLUX.

5. My formally republican friend
formally after viewing F911 called me yesterday and asked me about seeing it, i said hell yes but i told her she has to watch the original first. After we saw F911 she's now into a total immersion program, i love hearing about what she read or watched and loaning her my oh so many politcal books and my Outfoxed dvd.

9. I think the concept of this movie is to use high technology...
To "build" a President that is privately owned. But that is too complicated, I think that if you could hire some good psychologists and evaluate a person you can achieve the same results without any techonology.
