Why the hell is Hannity being allowed near the convention?
He's been on the air boasting about how he's going to interview delegates and put 'their stupid, misinformed comments' on the air

who the hell made the decision to allow this prick access? he's not a journalist. he's not even an honest commentator. he's a republican operative and propagandist.

do you think the GOP would let michael moore in their convention? why does the DLC go out of its way to accomodate the enemy?

1. As long as the DNC makes him wear a sign
that says, "I'm Handjob Hannity from FAUX NEWS-wanna talk to a moron? I'm available!", I don't see a problem with it!

11. General Purpose Concrete is $2.58 per 80-lb bag at your local Home Depot
Two bags make a wonderful Hannity-sized wading shoe. You need a left foot and a right foot, of course.

100% of their political donations go to the republican party! Boycott them. Shop elsewhere for the cement. :hi:

3. My answer..
Because we're better than they are.

Hannity wants to come to Boston and continue spreading his lies...that's fine by me. We all know him for what he really is. No point in denying him access and giving him yet another thing to gripe about.

and yes I am aware of "the general public". All you have to say is "Why are you leafing through that 3 ring binder so frantically"

He reads but he only reads the same things over and over. I have listened and he hasn't pulled off a clean reading yet.

Welcome to DU :hi:

34. My husband and I were walking past the Fox studios
in Manhattan one day. You can look in the windows and watch them. We were laughing so hard because it was right before Hannity and Colmes were going to go on and he was sitting there, obvously memorizing his little talking points. He was concentrating so hard with his head in his hands and looked like such a dope.

Then Colmes and John Gibson walked in and they were getting their pictures taken by these teen-age fans. All three looked very pompous and cheesy-looking.

...banish his ass to the "free speech zone". That or ship him to someplace like Uzbekhistan. Oh, and the DLC goes out of their way to "accomodate the enemy" because you are mistakenly thinking the DLC sees the lying, dissent suppressing shills of the right wing as their "enemy"...they don't, they share tactics, donor lists, and many points on their agendas.

14. I think he was at the 2000 convention wasn't he?
I remember at the time I had a higher tolerance for right wing radio since we were at the top of the world at the time (at least it seemed that way) so it was fun to listen to their insane ramblings.

But I remember he got into it with some young convention attendee who walk passed him and said "Hi Sean. Or shoud I say Seig Heil" and then gave him the nazi salute.

Sean called the dude over and they started arguing, with the guy calling Sean a nazi and a few other choice tidbits.

17. Because the DLC *is* the enemy
Bringing down the Democratic party from within has been their mission all along.

How do you get Americans to accept a one party fascist dictatorship?

You don't. Unless it happens without most of them even realizing it.

And this ain't no tinfoil post. It's an honest assessment of everything the DLC has done consistently since they proclaimed the 1994 Gingrich/Dole theft of Congress as a "liberation".

later on when he violates the 60 day rule.. Is "ET" going to be at the convention??

If it's only for news people...he cannot all of a sudden hide behind the "I'm only entertainment" barricade..

Besides there have been a couple Dems who have handed him
his head -- Howard Dean, Robert Reich to name two, and those
are the people we should get in front of him one right after
the other and make him run home screaming for Rupert.

That's what I'd do.
