2. I Think They Will Step Aside

Kerry has been endorsed by the Unions and the Police and Firemen hasn't he? I think they will step aside in a show of solidarity with the party that supports them. I also think that in doing so they will endear the Democratic party to them which will have tremendous effect on the clout they wield in their negotiations. In short it would be the very smartest thing the Union could do, to symbolically have a picket line that then opened up and stood aside to allow the Democratic convention to proceed. Just picture it in your mind. Now, think of the additional clout the Union would have if that was all over every news broadcast on earth. Just think about it.
