So you say you are an anarchist
I've heard that from many people, but I often wonder what they mean by that. If the world were to change into anarchy, there would be no water to drink, electricity to heat homes, police to prevent robbery, etc...

So if you're an anarchist, please explain to me how an ideal world of your making would work because I can't envision one. I have no axe to grind, I just want to be informed and ask some questions.

2. Well, I never heard of an Anarchist typing himself
Are there really people out there who claim to be an "anarcho-cpatitalist"?

I doubt it. I'm interested in talking with people who claim to be anarchists and I want their points of view. Thanks for the links, but I'm hoping someone here is an anarchist and can give me the straight scoop on the whole idea of promoting and being committed to anarchy.

3. The Black Flag site appears to have a communist mission
I see little deviance from the Communist Manifesto, which is hardly anarchy, or is that what anarchy is these days, a new name for communism much the same way that "progressive" is another word for "liberal"?

4. That encyclopedia link was quite informative
And it seems that most of the interpretations of anarchy are simply a renaming of other systems. This listing is really good -it came off your link...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anarchism#Schools_of_anarchist_thought

Anarchism is a generic term describing various political philosophies and social movements that advocate the elimination of the state. These philosophies use anarchy to mean a society based on voluntary co-operation of free individuals. Philosophical anarchist thought does not intend to advocate chaos or anomie — it intends "anarchy" to refer to a manner of human relations that is intentionally established and maintained.
