Brief Political Exchange in the Office... ;-)

We have a plasma TV that plays CNN with the volume turned down in our office lobby. There are only three females working here and we all sit along the same line of cubes nearest to the TV. The two other women are black - one is African-American and the other is Jamaican-American. Both are registered to vote, we're all good buddies.

Anyway the older woman comes by and starts laughing. "Bush is on right now talking to the Urban League". The younger woman started rolling her eyes, "Guess he feels like he's gotta hit at least one of the black groups."

The three of us exchanged knowing looks and just cracked up. "Yeah he's a real winner..." I said. The younger woman always refers to him as "YOUR President" (she refuses to acknowledge he's HER President so we both call him 'YOUR President' or YP for short.)

The rest of our company is very WASPish male, many Repugs, so it's nice to have an oasis of sanity.

But I know what you mean. I have one person, my Animal Tech, who shares views similar enough taht we can sit back and egg eachother on adequately.

2. I'm surrounded by 'publicans...

....so I just close my office door and listen to AAR really loud. I know they can hear it....hehehe
