Former Youth Commissioner Has a Chance to Study at Harvard

Tanene Allison, Matt's two-time appointment to the San Francisco Youth Commission is headed off to Harvard's Kennedy School of Government for graduate study. Tanene comes from a background of homelessness and abuse, and in spite of that managed to graduate high school at 16, move to the Bay Area, make her way through SF State and eventually chair the Youth Commission for the city of San Francisco.

In order for Tanene to make it to Harvard in three weeks, she needs funds!  In order to pay her move fees, get into an apartment, and get a computer and her books, Tanene needs to raise approximately $5,500.
