Randomly selected machines should be continually tested throughout Election Day. This "parallel monitoring," as it is known, can test parts of the system that come into play only during actual voting. It can ensure that no malicious software was installed that was designed to look honest before and after voting, but to steal votes during the election itself.

Can we get this in place state-by-state?

Order more machines for each precinct then are directly needed, and randomly select one to test throughout the day?

(Using actual voting procedures, not running a self-test.)

1. Our Congress has failed us. . .

thanks largely to Bob Ney (R-OH) who stifled HR2239 in committee. Many states have rallied OH & CA in particular, GA, FL, & MD are pretty much toast. It's going to take grassroots now to fix things in those places. If anyone is a constituent of any of those places then consider getting voraciously vociferous. There's not much time.
