The Chimp is S-L-O-W...
In response to all the "decisive" and "steady" crap, I think it needs to be pointed out repeatedly that the Chimp is SLOW.

SLOW to do anything with the Hart-Rudman report.
SLOW to get out of the classroom on 9/11.
SLOW to take any action.
SLOW to get to ground zero.
SLOW to agree to a 9/11 Commission.
SLOW to deal with its recommendations, prioritizing the time-wasting gay marriage ban amendment discussion and vacation time, instead.

Slow and stupid will not win a damn thing.

(I like the other connotations of the word SLOW applied to the Chimp, as well.)

Any other examples of his being slow?

He's a klutz, and lazy and he doesn't do teamwork either.

5. 3000 people died on 9-11 because BU$H IS SLOW
Edited on Sat Jul-24-04 10:21 AM by DoYouEverWonder
He has shown us, numerous times that he is totally incompetent to function effectively has POTUS.

What happens next time? Is W any better prepared to handle another national emergency? I doubt it, he can barely stand up anymore, no less respond to a major attack in a timely fashion.

10. Mario Cuomo called him "simple" -- Slow and Simple are ideal words
I think "Slow" and "Simple" should be in every speech at the convention.

Slow to respond, slow to act, slow to move...

Simple view of the world, simple thinking, simple approaches...

Let the listeners make the inference that he is slow-witted and simplistic. I think these words should be repeated, often.

11. One matter on which the Chimp was very very fast
and it's a Bush scandal we don't even mention anymore, maybe because it all went by so fast. It was Bush's treatment of Koch Industries, such as is described in this interesting article, where he absolved one of his energy company friends after a little more than 2 months in office:

http://216.239.57.104/search?q=cache:ysuObEQndm4J:www.mediawhoresonline.com/koch.htm+koch+industries&hl=en

Koch Industries, which I believe is the largest privately-owned energy company in the United States is a long-time Bush supporter. The company donated approximately $800,000 to Republicans over the years, and one of the Koch family member owners, David Koch contributed $487,500 to Republcians, including $30,000 to George Bush.

At the end of the Clinton Presidency, Koch Industries was apparently the subject of an ongoing 97 count indictment and potential fines of $352 million for violating federal clean air and hazardous waste laws.

When Bush came into office, in early April, 2001 (a little more than 2 months in office) all of the 97 counts against Koch were dropped and the fines were reduced to only $20 million, in return for which Koch was to plead to a felony for which no one would serve time. And Ari Fleischer engaged in one of the more artful song and dance performances of his career when he refused to address whether George Bush would return any campaign contributions from a convicted felon. Bush was very very fast in remembering to take care of his energy company friends.

13. Okay, or...
he was slow to return the campaign contributions... In fact, I'll bet he's still thinking about it. Every day.

(Amazing that this polluter isn't serving time, but Martha Stewart is!)
