While it is highly preferable that Kerry win the election, so that he will *hopefully* eliminate the neo-conservative fascist agenda, even if he doesn't win there is still a small silver lining.
If Bush wins, assuming that he doesn't completely destroy the Nation, the next 40 years will be nothing but Democratic Presidents and Liberalism. It will take twenty years to repair all the damage Bush has done and another 20 years for another Party to become formidable enough to stand up against the Democrats (the Republican Party will have long sense died off).
Okay, maybe that's a little far fetched, but still in the end Bush is going to fuck this country over so bad if he is re-elected there will be nothing but Democratic Presidents into the foreseeable future. A small silver lining, I suppose, but it's there. If Bush wins the election there will be a dawning of a new era of liberalism in America.

...I can remember thinking that Watergate was the end of the Republican Party as well and we all know how that worked out.
