Oh Ralph, Oh Ralph, Oh Ralph! And to think that members on this forum at one time supported you! Oh sure, there are a few holdouts, but now we look at them as folks with extreme mental deficiencies. Ahh the ego,......Ahh the ego,......

2. Betsy DeVos, the chair of the Michigan Repugnant Party, is a horrid person
Edited on Sat Jul-24-04 07:57 PM by Ann Arbor Dem
She's the one who said Michigan workers make too much money a few months ago and hence the crappy economy. (Actually, it was John Engler's misdeeds that left our economy in disarray. Jennifer Granholm having to contend with his blunders and she is making some headway. She is wonderful!)

Gore took Michigan in 2000, so Betsy has to pull out a win for Bush this year by any means she can manage. The signature scam doesn't suprise me nor does Pappageorge's comments about suppressing the black vote in Detroit. The repukes think they are successfully playing hardball, but the truth is that these things are backfiring them.

Engler, who was governor at the time, guaranteed a Bush win in the 2000 primary, but McClain won the election. The one good thing that came of the Bush loss...Engler didn't make it to the Bush Administration. :7

edit: typo

3. Just finished reading that report by Jake Tapper... it's excellent.
I'm all pissed off now, but Tapper gets to the bottom of things, as usual. :grr:

4. It's amazing how quick and well organized the Republicans.....
are; they get their minions up and marching and following orders whenever the need to subvert Democracy arises.

5. Pathetic, simply pathetic.
So, they get repuke voters to sign the petitions, so what?
Nobody will vote for the worlds largest ego, anyway.
If ralphie truly thinks that he can get anything done with the rethug's help, I got some marshland to sell.
Ignore them, they will fade away.
