Learn me 'bout Wellstone, please?
I really know nothing about Paul Wellstone and, because I tend to lean in the populist direction, I think I should. Can anyone suggest a real good place/source to start learning about his policies and philosophies? TIA.

We are pleased to introduce the latest addition to our website, a section describing the lives and work of Paul and Sheila Wellstone. In coming months, we will be continually updating this section, adding issue information, speeches, video and audio features, and other material.

Follow the links below to read short biographies of Paul and Sheila, a compilation of Paul's quotes, and a series of recently added speeches from Paul's career.

3. My thoughts exactly. This is an excellent way to begin your journey
learning about Paul Wellstone.

There is a documentary coming out soon as well.

5. Yea, his book brought me to tears.
He just had so much compassion and empathy for people, thats so rare in politicians today.

4. Saw him on TV, for the first time
Paul was saying that corporations that went off-shore should NOT be able to do business with the government and should lose their tax breaks.

I was floored. Here was a US Senator, telling the truth for a change! An instant hero in my book. Two, three weeks later, his plane mysteriously crashed. We lost an American Statesman that awful day.

Paul, I hardly knew yee then. But you and I be brothers, man, brothers.
