1. But...but...
The AOL welcome screen says that JFK is slightly behind in the electoral vote, and asks, "Can he catch up?" Things are really bad for Kerry. :eyes:

2. AND NBC News says it...
.. and Yahoo says it. Kerry is struggling and faces a "cold" map of electoral states! The MSNBC story was word for word that hack Fournier's story.. even THOUGH today we all know Pennsylvania and Oregon are solidly Kerry. The disinformation campaign has begun. I think the "journalists" are upset about the bathrooms at the convention.. and the lack of free beer. Fuckers.

3. Three sites which disagree:

http://www.dcpoliticalreport.com/polls04.htm
Kerry: 224
Bush: 173
Too Close to Call/No Polls Available: 141

http://www.electoral-vote.com
Kerry: 310
Bush: 217
Tied: 11

Even http://www.electionprojection.com - which is run by an unabashed Bush supporter - has
Kerry: 327
Bush: 211

Do they mean "cold" in the sense that blue is often thought of as a cold color? That's the only way their description makes sense.

4. in 10 days I'll be surprised if Kerry doesn't bust through the 50 mark
The way it looks, Bush may have hit his glass ceiling at around 44 to 45%. Kerry can only gain votes, not lose them.

5. I agree
Kerry will break the 50% level and stay there.
