Cspan is really lying down on the job, imo

Just today Kerry is barnstorming all over the place, speeches in Iowa, etc, and C-span carries repeats of Washington Journal.

I thought when Congress was not in session Cspan was supposed to carry live campaign stops? They used to.

They are pretty sanitized, kind of like how rock and roll stations are. When John Lennon was shot, rock stations devoted their entire broadcast day to the Beatles. Today when a big rock star dies, they don't even play their songs. Cspan is getting like that. Everything is by the book, everything planned to the minute. Nothing spontaneous. Instead of showing the bore-ass Washington Journal repeat they might have gone to Kerry's Iowa stop. If only Cspan had real class.

They really leave a lot to be desired, and their video vault online is really el-sucko. All they have are speechs by Bush or Snarly, there are no recent Kerry speeches in their entire video vault. Nothing. All they have is Nancy Pelosi speaking on July 22 for 30 minutes.

The reason it's like this because as of the last few years, all the pop radio stations are consolidated by Clear Channel (Bush buddies) and run by a corporate robot/machine. Seriously.

They "know" that the Boston Globe has trashed Kerry for YEARS, and yet they have an "impartial" newswoman from the Globe to "tell the American people about Kerry"..:eyes:
