Just said that Kerry is Boston born and bred-didn't I just find out yesterday that Kerry was born in Colorado. It's a small thing but when they don't get an easily checked fact right I become suspicious of whatever they had to say.

there are two kinds of New England elitists. There is one who uses his connections to slide by in good schools, evade military service in Viet Nam, and be irresponsible in his business dealings. There is another who takes his responsibilities to his fellow beings seriously, volunteers for Viet Nam, saves a fellow soldier's life, and then follows his principles by opposing the war. He becomes a crusading attorney and then public servant. That's the kind of "New England elitist" that I like.

Uh let's see...one candidate is born to a military family based in Colorado during WWII. The other is born to a Brahmin Connecticut Yankee family in New Haven. Uh you tell me whose the "silver spoon" here?

C-Span ran a bit of a Howie Carr hit job today about how Kerry lives like some spoiled frat boy...never a word that the pResident is sitting on a fake "ranch", playing gameboy and has never worked a real job in his life. Or that Kerry has been avoiding Boston. Howie...moron, that's how conventions work...the nominee doesn't show until the end of the party. Ya think Bunnypants is gonna spend anymore time in NYC than absolutely necessary? Talk about tight security...Manhattan will be tighter than a drum when that dude copters in and out for his attempt at a speech.
