Dixie Chicks: Did they get PERMANENTLY booted from the Clear Channel
stations, or have they surreptitiously reappeared on the playlists? I don't listen to country, or much radio at all, so I don't know.

1. Occasionally I hear them
So very occasionally. I heard Landslide on a CC classic rock station and called the DJ to tell him thanks. He said other callers had protested the playing, but it's Texas, and there are a lot of idiots here.

2. They're back in regular rotation at the station where I work...

I usually replace any Toby Keith or Darryl Worley song with the Chicks.

3. Do they have anything new out?
I mean, that may be a small factor in their lack of radio play. I can't say I pay much attn. to Country Music, but as far as I can recall, their last album is a few yrs old now. Yes?

4. I think their treatment by CC and their country music "peers" has
left them with a bad taste for the music biz in general. They've got a lot of talent and I hope they don't quit though.

5. They haven't put a studio album out since "Home."
They did release a live two-disc set last Christmas.

6. I didn't think so
I suspect by the time they put out something new, it will get some airplay. Are they working on anything?
