Who do these TV guys think they are? They look like the road company of "Rent" or something!!!

I thought there was some rip in the space/time continuum and Madonna and Garth were onstage together. Talk about a vile mental picture!

It's official: The so-called media think they're rock stars. Forget journalism, folks! How's my hair holding up under the lights? Bring on the spandex!

Haven't yet ventured into watching any convention footage. Most likely I'll tune in to C-SPAN tomorrow. I just can't stomach the networks. Ugh.

2. are you talking about the handsfree mic?

it makes sense to use them, since they have the IFB/telex and mic combined into one unit.

3. The headset mics are used in noisy situations, too.

Any time you have a reporter in the midst of a large, loud crowd, you'll see him/her/it wearing one of these units.

Most a yer modern-day News Hos think it makes 'em look just like the Preznit in his dashing flight suit!
