CNN *already* promoting "George Bush: The Man, The President" |
|
Their supposedly unbiased counterpoint to the John Kerry hatchet job that aired this weekend.
For how many days did CNN promote the Kerry show? Three? Four? And how many weeks will the promos for Bush run? And compare the visuals: Kerry was this grainy, black-and-white thing on the screen; Bush is a series of moving color images.
I've only been awake 10 minutes this morning, and I'm already livid. SHOVE IT, CNN.

1. John Kerry: Born to run |
|
I think they promoted it for a week. Maybe right after they showed "Flyboy" for the umpteenth time.

5. Did you watch that slanted garbage? |
|
"Born to Run" = every thing I did in my life was calculated because I wanted to run for President one day.
It was pathetic.

6. Yes, but what material will they have to work with in shrub's story? |
|
The little shrub, being a spoiled rich kid who never planned to work an honest day in his life, lived a life of leisure, drug abuse, and tom-catting around Texas, until one day the Lord came to shrub and said "You will be president," and then he had to get cracking and cover up all those embarrassing records of his pre-45 year old youth.

7. They'll show * on the Faux ranch, plucking berries and chewin' hay. |
|
They'll talk about his religious awakening and his direct line to God. They'll show tender home movies of the moments he spent with "the twins". They'll show his pseudo heroic days as President after 911, a take charge man who doesn't "back down". A virtual Clint Eastwood and Rambo all rolled up into one current president. A man fighting terra amongst the bleeding heart liberal adversity.
George Bush ... man of conviction that's what they'll portray.
Oh boy, I can't wait. :eyes:

2. This reminds me what they did to Gore |
|
In 2000 they had a special on Gore which was mostly negative verses the special they had on bush which was mostly positive
This is why I do not listen to the "mainstream" media in this country...

Here is a recap of the story of John Kerry's service in Vietnam according to "Creepy Crawley" aka Candy Crawley...
John Kerry, knowing he would one day run for President and would likely be drafted, decided to enlist for the war in Vietnam. Of course this was so he could use this on his resume much later. While serving in Vietnam, he earned 3 purple hearts, albeit they were for very minor wounds. However, in spite of the lack of real pain and suffering on his part, Kerry took the opportunity to get out service in Vietnam. Sure, some guys claim Kerry saved their lives, but they'd all be dead if the enemy on the other side of the river, had only fired a shot.
When Kerry came back from his politically motivated, very short and cowardly service in Vietnam, he committed his first of many public flip flops, he protested the war.
It was absolutely outrageous.
