Team Bush has shown to be so Inept, Maybe we shoulda got Amateurs
who would have done a better job.

The Tunnel Vision and Arrogance Level Bush displays are def not acceptable and counter productive.....

1. Recall the mantra 'the adults are back in charge'?
Then the sudden push to basically kill off Head Start? So, were they afraid a bunch of well socialized pre-schoolers were a threat to their supremacy?

Just one of those things that makes da momma go hmmmmmmm...

2. This Is A "Focal Point"
I could see in "War Room Rove"...the REAL war room in the White House, this week's been circled on the calendar for a long, long time.

Already we've got the manufactured non-stories about the Kerry pitch and Teressa's remarks...and wasn't it amazing how both came up on Sunday night, after the talk shows and then played, unquestioned, on the Monday morning shows. People woke up seeing the flopped pitch and hearing how Teressa told someone to Chenney off...all outside of context but with plenty of commentary. I don't think this is just happenstance.

I can feel a ton of distractions coming this week. The aggitators are out. A good example was Kate O'Bierne...saying how she was getting harassed on the streets. Sheesh. Maybe it's cause she's coyote ugly. LOL.

9. Another thing Dems should be talking about.
Why are the Republicans and the press talking about trivial issues?

the same...as their World became increasing harsher...start the Games and give the Masses something to cheer about/look at/talk about....

Ans so it is with these guys, they trivialize us with small shit...

4. USA vs USSR in 1980 Olympic Hockey
Remember, it was college amateurs who beat the one team in the Olympics that everyone pretty much felt was unbeatable. Sometimes it takes 'amateurs' to bring in fresh new ideas on how to play the game. New energy and new vigor.

6. As a little kid growing up in California,
Edited on Mon Jul-26-04 11:29 AM by Ernesto
one of my earliest exposures to political malfeasance was the day before an election. It was tricky dick running a tv add against Edmund Brown. There he was: Govenor Brown on the steps of the state capitol, saluting a Russian flag!.... Nice try dick! He lost the election & then made his famous "you won't have me to kick around anymore" speech...... I may have been a little kid, but I wasn't as stupid as the freepers of the time.............. Stand by for plenty of mud slinging & believe me, the majority of it'll be comin' at us, from the "moral" repukes.

15. That was the campaign that got me involved with politics!
Made a poster and my mom let me put it in the front window.

If you vote for Nixon, your head needs fixin'

I did it in oil pastels cuz magic markers were not yet in every home. Avoided my crayon box cuz it seemed too important for my childish tools.
