Hillary made me believe it's gonna happen!
This morning, I saw a clip on ... I dunno, MSNBC? ... in which Hillary said "I can't WAIT until we get this administration out of office." Then, she added with a little laugh, "Maybe we could move up the inauguration a few months!"

Something about the way she said it made me believe it's really gonna happen. She managed to encapsulate our disgust with the Bush administration, but with this little lilt in her voice.

Can you feel it, people?

What inspiration! Now let's get working... contacting the press... volunteering for our candidates... canvassing for MoveOn and ACT...

It WILL happen - but ONLY with our help!

2. When even staunchly conservative business publications like the
National Underwriter publish articles like the following... it does seem a cincher.

Odds Against Bush Say Foreign Insurance Execs

NU Online News Service, July 19, 3:45 p.m. EDT—Foreign and some U.S. insurance executives polled at an international industry meeting said George Bush looks like a loser, and their biggest business problems include keeping good staff, productivity, efficiency and expense controls.

3. I actually began to believe it was possible when Kerry chose Edwards.

They (and I don't know who "they" are) say that a nominee's most important choice (the one that will show early on what kind of a President he or she would be) is their choice for Vice President. The choice of Edwards WAS brilliant.

And seeing what a great, appealing ticket it is...and seeing, amazingly, how unified we are. I really think this is doable, folks. John Kerry is Presidential. I can picture him at the G7 summits...I can see him delivering the SOTU. I can actually envision the Kerry Administration. Hell, I'm already doing a wish list of the Kerry Cabinet. :-)

Yep...you better believe I can feel it.

4. I agree!
I started out just wanting "anyone but Bush", but now I actually like Kerry quite a bit!

5. Bill was on CSPAN last night
and he was asked would Hillary run in 2012. He said that both of them were working for Kerry now. He also said that 2012 was too far away to say now.

IMO I felt that he was really leaving the door wide open.

Interviewer even asked him was he interested in running for elective office now. He said ,"No, he is to busy working for Aids and other issues that he strongly believes in."

Big Dog Rocks!!!:yourock:

6. I like what someone said about Hillary being Chief Justice.
When Kerry is president, he will get to pick a new chief justice (Rehnquist has GOT to be about ready to wander off). Hillary could be a marvelous chief justice.

Sure, it'd be hard -- probably impossible -- to get her passed by the Senate.

But it's a lovely dream!

9. Absolutely!
Well, Kerry could get a chance to appoint a few justices ... so ... there could be room for both Hillary and Mario.

13. Yes! Chief Justice of SCOTUS is Hillary's well-earned karma!

The cosmos will just have to ensure that there's a Democratic majority in the Senate. I believe in miracles!

(My credit cards are maxed out, but maybe I'll win a bingo game so that I can contribute to worthy congressional candidates. Stranger things have happened.)

12. There have been Kerry volunteers on the street asking for donations.
Which I've done, also. VERY easy to donate that way. :-)
