Anyone here think David Brock has not redeemed himself?
Just watched "Outfoxed" (Man,it made me SO angry to watch!)I think David Brock is one of the best spokesman for us Dems out there.I think Mediamatters.org is one of the best sites available(next to DU of course)Anyone here still hold a grudge about his smear campaign with the Clintons?

7. I think Brock
shows remorse & thats why I think what he's doing now is AWSOME! Hell, if Ann Coulter came over to our side I'd be happy(atleast I think....come to think of it....)

8. Let them keep Coulter
She has passed the point of no return and would/should be an embarrassment to anyone she's associated with.

4. He has redeemed himself in my eyes
He caused some major damage at the time but there arent a lot of people who see the light, there are even fewer who , upon seeing the light make a determined and focused effort to atone for past misdeeds.

5. He's worked harder at redemption than anyone I've ever seen
As long as he keeps it up, he's cool in my book.

They just need to do a better job of updating their site. Lots of stuff slips through the cracks.

9. He has redeemed himself
To me he has anyway. I do believe he apologized to the Clinton's too. I think it takes a big man to try to right his past wrongs they way he has.

11. Completely shameless plug
Edited on Mon Jul-26-04 03:21 PM by Jen6
buy Brock's book as part of this auction for Kerry: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=104x2067830

it really is an entertaining-and sometimes infuriating-look at the Right from inside the beast.

BTW- what has Brock been saying lately? I don't get many channels on my
set.

www.mediamatters.org

He's a regular on Franken's show now, exposing RW lies.

13. I don't know.
I think it will be an ongoing process.

I mean, what if he hadn't done his Anita Hill hit piece? Would Clarence Thomas have been rejected? Would a more moderate nominee have taken his place? Would that nominee have decided differently in Bush v. Gore?

We'll never know the full extent of the damage Brock did as a right-wing hitman. But I am very glad he's on our side now, and MediaMatters has turned into a stellar resource.

15. He redeemed himself with me
with his first book...."Blinded By The Right." HE, and HE alone is the reason I became active in politics. I was SO angry after I read his book....I had to do something. The RWers are evil and we have to fight them 'til the end. Thank You, David Brock!

21. What he did took HUGE strength and courage
He faced up to himSELF -- and I think that's harder than anything.

I have nothing but admiration for him.
