Matthews (Tweedy) playing the Teresa Kerry "shove it" comment...
...I only turned it there while the convention cut to a break. I saw him playing that, and was instantly pissed.

Is this going to be like the Howard Holler? Something that the media is just going to constantly play, and play, and play and then replay? Gawd I hope not.

1. Tweety didn't like that she said it!
Gee, I wonder if he had a problem with Cheney's little comment!

When JK gets in, Tweety needs to be sent to GITMO!

:grr:

3. Not "going to be", but "has been all day"...
And yes, they need their new "Hillary" to activate their base.

4. Check Out That Panel...
Ron Reagan does a 10 minute interview with Michael Moore. There's Dee Dee Meyers, Peter Hart and David Gergen...one of the rare few good Republicans. Tweety's not gonna go too far afield tonight and that remark was one of the few times MSNBC has shown it all day...compared to CNNserative that airs it hourly and Faux that is using it for theme music.

5. This was the first time all day that I saw the whole thing in its entirety
I was glad to get the full context and thought she looked better in it than the short clips they have been showing throughout the day.

I like Tweety's panel - Gergen, Ron Reagan, DeeDee Meyers, and Peter Hart.

7. actually, though,
seeing the full clip was much better than letting the chattering heads like Tweety simply talk about it. Teresa was so classy in how she handled that smug Scaife-funded bastard. And the media needs to be reminded of the foul-mouthed, hate-spewing Annthrax Coulters of this world to whom they have given free reign and ample camera time!

Many people, seeing Teresa, might actually sympathize and identify with her. I hate Tweety and am only watching cause of Ron Reagan (he needs his own show), but I was actually glad to see the entire clip so I would know for myself how all the hype is much ado about nothing.
We need to see that fighting, won't take shit attitude done with such class and elegance.

You go Teresa

And Scaife -- go fucking shove it!

8. I liked how they showed the entire incident- She straightened that guy out
He tried to trap her by asking why she said 'UnAmerican activities" when in fact she had not used the word 'activities' at all. She was smart enough to catch the McCarthyism implications of what he was trying to do and she succeeded in correcting him in no uncertain terms.
