7. It's a lot easier to read threads with a variety of avatars

lots of times when I'm scanning a 'View All' the avatars help me get an idea of who is saying what, where. If everyone had the same avatar it would be confusing.

I happily gave up my Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer for Kerry-Edwards during the Convention. I don't see it as conforming, I see it as UNITY. Something we Democrats seem to have a problem with.. The GOP would rally around a pile of goose poop if it had a flag pin on its lapel and the GOP nomination. We Democrats are sometimes just too-cool-for-the-room at our own peril.
