Unless you're one of the soldiers fighting over there, everything you know about the war is mediated by someone else -- and that someone else is, more often than not, the corporate media.

It's harder to tell someone their joblessness and their credit card bills aren't what they seem (not that Republicans don't try to do that too). But, when it comes to the war, some people have minds that are pretty fertile for believing lies Bush tells them, and when they see some BS like this in the paper, they'll accept it as the truth.
