(She said Un-American traits were creeping into coverage of politics) was the jerk's way of spinning it into a McCarthy-esque (House Un-American Activities Committee) phrase. It's a well known phrase and she caught the bastard trying to spin it that way.

He knew what he was doing when he "paraphrased" it that way.


I DO like the fact that a lot of media outlets are mentioning that the weasel is a Scaife-paid lapdog.
