For my money, Al Gore was GREAT and gave a rousing speech. Jimmy Carter pulled off some of the most gentlemanly ways of calling * the liar and inept clown that he is. Carter still brings tears to my eyes as to what a great man he has shown himself to be.

He didn't back down like so many Dems do when asked "did you really mean to say that President Bush...." Carter's answer is always yes, I said what I meant and here is why. Just awesome!!!
