Dole told Dean that he did the right thing in Iowa (the scream). He also said that he hopes Dean doesn't work too much because Dean is very effective. Dean smiled and blushed.

I took it as a compliment to Dean for helping the Party to find it's voice again. It seemed very sincere to me but YMMV.

9. Oddly, I think you are right - Dole WAS complimenting him. |
|
It is a strange time, yet a marvelous one. Senior party statesmen complimenting the other side for simply doing their best to make this country a better place - gotta love it!

I really do. He is awesome.
My husband is now totally on board with voting for Kerry in November. He said, "He just better give Dean a cabinet position, that's all I gotta say."
Dean for Secretary of Health and Human Services!!!!!

Man, I hate to say this, but Bob is soo much better as a human being than a politician. He has the best sense of humor of any ex-Republican canididate ever.
I still would never have voted for him, but getting out of DC did his humanity a wealth of good.

Iraq had nothing to do with the war on terror and the 911 panel said as much when are the repubs going to stop lying about why they went into Iraq

6. Dean is not letting up on the war. |
|
He has been all over the airwaves today, and I am glad he is still pounding about that war.

7. I thought we were imagining that. Did not catch what Dole said. |
|
We thought we saw a blush.

He's one of the few left who remember the term "loyal opposition" and who knew politics was about debating ideas, not debating who's evil.
