I think that Smirky's sudden talk about "doing something" about the 9/11 com. report is the fact that all his talk about 9/11 is going to look pretty pathetic come the convention if he hasn't acted on their suggestions.

So I think they're going to try some cosmetic moves before the convention so their bragging about security isn't scuffed by inconvenient questions about why Bush hasn't done shit with their report.
