3. the more I watch of this, the madder I get
I just don't understand why he is still here. Joe Skanborough is a total partisan --Bush enabler--the worst of the worst, so why the hell is here in our night of glory.

I WANT HIM GONE!!!

4. he actually said some nice things about Kerry tonight
I was shocked. But I shouldn't be. He says just enough reasonable things to keep some "cred" with the gullible.

9. You mean "Trolling" for Bu$h Votes....
He and the rest of the Repukes that are there for commentary make me sick...I couldn't stand the news networks (CNN, FAUX, MSNBC...) all their "talking heads" were talking right through the Rev. Alston speech (which I ended up watching on CSPAN) who served in Vietnam with John Kerry and they never even showed it....

Then, later, CNN shows "Mo Rocca" and Tucker Carlson spewing stupid remarks...

I just hope that we have a few James Carville's and Democratic Sharp tongues to cut the Repukes to shred at their convention...

:grr:

10. Joe's comments about Big Dawg's speech

had me with one hand on my shoe getting ready to throw it at the TV! After watching MSNBC's coverage tonight, I'm going to have to watch C-Span or something. Also, sickeningly, I'm going to HAVE TO watch a little bit of the republican convention to see if all the talking heads cut down people speaking at their convention. See if they constantly make derogatory remarks about Bush during their little talking moments between speeches.

Joe accused Bill of stealing all the republicans ideas and making them sound like his own. He was calling him smarmy. Really cutting him down.

Then the talk was on Hilary wanting to run for president.

I thought tonight's convention opening was very respectfully done.

Oh, and I LOVED AL GORE! Whey didn't he talk like that in 2000? Guess he had to have his political soul liberated by the horrors of Election 2000. I sure hope he sticks around in some capacity. Hey, if we win this thing, think of all the great people we have to work in the top jobs. Gore, Clark, Dean and so many more. I don't recall ever seeing so many dedicated, passionate politicians who truly want to change their country for the better.

We gotta win this thing.

11. Joe Scarborough calling anyone "Smarmy" is
Edited on Tue Jul-27-04 02:59 AM by impeachdubya
like Charles Manson accusing people of being Sociopaths.

He should f*cking talk. The guy oozes smarm. His smarminess is smarmy, and that smarmy has more layers of sub-smarm added on top as well. He's got to boil his socks once a week to get the caked on smarm off of them. He was voted "most likely to be a smarmy-ass f*ckknob" by his high school class. He sounds smarmy when he's wishing his mother a happy birthday. He can't order a pizza without his voice oozing smarm.

Get it? The guy is SMARMY!

And a World Class Ass, to boot.

12. Send MSNBC an e-mail
and suggest they sub Scarborough with Keith Olbermann. He'd be a much better co-host with Ron Reagan on the After Hours broadcast--and he's actually a real journalist who knows how to be fair & ask good questions instead of spouting off opinions like Scarborough. Plus, I've never heard any stories about Keith killing one of his interns.
