freepers haven't received their talking points yet |
|
From a quick scan, it seems they're baffled and poking trough their files trying to apply last months message du jours ...
"Mrs Clinton looked pained. Possibly cause she wasnt the theme for the night. Slick Willy lied about Republicans, though he was smooth about it. Typical."
"Al Gore - same crap, just toned down a bit. Looks like he is coming off a bad hangover. Carter - Horrible speech, just like his Presidency. Lame, cheesy - warmed over cow-dung."
"Crazy Al still looks stiff and wooden, but at least he looks porky and sweaty."
"Monica was under the podium pumping him up.... What a Scum Bag!!!!"
"Notice Clintoon did not send his tax cut back. he can talk the talk, he just can't walk it."
"a draft dodger talking about service in Vietnam?"
One new thing:
"I hope that it was not lost on Sean the lack of Red, White and Blue on the stage and in the background of the speakers at the Democratic Party Convention. The whole arena is incredibly muted. Are they ashamed of our flags colors???"
And one cowering in fear:
"So far they look like they want to keep Kerry out of the news. The more people see of him the more they think, "what a pompus jerk!" He is going to have to come out into the light at some point."

that one freeptard talking about the flags and colors, etc missed the GIANT flag animation on the GIANT screen behind every speaker??? What an idiot.
And what does that have to do with anything? Would ANYONE watching get that event confused with the Democratic convention in say, Laos, or Turkey or something? Hello? We aren't freeptards, we don't need the flags constantly flinging in our faces to know we are Americans and in America.
What a stupid thing to say.

11. Yeah, I had a good comeback for it |
|
I wondered aloud if it was wise for a Republican to be criticizing lack of specific colors at a convention and posted a few pictures of black Americans at the event.
Also posted one with the enormous flag and and majestic waving blue and white bars in the background and asked him if he was watching the same event as everyone else.

You don't get banned there unless you criticize a board moderator or are just a complete flaming asshole that doesn't love Bush. It's surprisingly even-handed as far as banning. For instance, people have been banned for advocating assassinating Howard Dean. Of course, you get the chance to retract a bannable offense if it's aimed at anything but a Republican ...

Another poster over there has credited me with opening her eyes about Bush. Makes me feel all warm inside. And I'm confident another effect of there being a good deal of people like me over there is planting the seeds of doubt in vocal Bush supporters who continue to support him, but may hesitate, lick their lips, blink, etc when telling others why to vote Bush - most people aren't good liars and will remember truth even when they don't want to.
It's actually a pretty good environment - a good portion of the self-defined conservatives there are the anti-neocon type - mostly Libertarians and Constitution Party people, but also some "I voted for Bush in 2000, but I'm staying home in 2004" Republicans.

What the hell? There was a freakin' flag behind Clinton during his speech. The audience was awash in the colors. Do these people have eyes?
As for the "keep Kerry out of the news" comment, that's just plain idiotic. Every single speech mentioned his name, his position, his life.
They're groping.

7. Yep, they are in a sticky situation |
|
Anything they do after this convention that is remotely like what they have done or said before the convention will be immediately detected as BS, or lies, or both. Can't sugar coat, can't shove anything under the rug, can't point fingers anymore. Hee hee, these next few days are gonna be sweet!!

You have to feel for the poor, fat slobs. What woman would go down on a Fat Freeper. If they ever get one, it cost $500.00, and that "drains" potential cash to the RNC.

Kerry Edwards are "out of the mainstream"... I don't think I've seen an interview in the past two weeks where a Republican spokesman hasn't uttered those four words, even though these "out of the mainstream" candidates have more support than their candidates, go figure. Maybe they should say "out of the right wing stream"
