The viberance of culture. |

How do you feel about that? It seems to me that culture is a little more viberant under a Democratic President than under a Republican President. Look at the 60's. Look at the 90's. THese were viberant times. As opposed to right now. As opposed to the 80's as well. What are your thoughts on this?

I kinda snored through the 90s, but these nearly-apocalyptic Bush years have been pretty overwhelming at times... there's a sense of urgency and action in the air...
The real and the surreal blend together into one big mess. If you would've travelled back in time and told me what was in store, I would've laughed hysterically and told you to go fuck yourself, ya time travellin' weirdo.
So, yeah - its vibrant. Artists are gingerly dipping back into politics again, some with a fury. Some merely obnoxious.
(I'm definetely in the obnoxious category.)
Some distance will be required for perspective. But who wants perspective now? I just wanna know what viberance is.
