Hours ago, a UA jet returned urgently to Sydney Airport...

whilst on its way to LA. 90 minutes into the flight, someone found a sick bag in the bathroom which had the following word written on it:

B O B

That was it - no other information of any kind. Someone writes "BOB" on a sick bag and a flight attendant with an active imagination decided it meant "bomb on board". So the flight returned to Sydney and the plane is moved to a remote area of the airport. THEN for some reason they keep the passengers ON the plane for half an hour or more whist security measures are put in place.

This shit has all gone too far. Why wasn't there confidence in the security measures already taken? Does this now mean that Al Qaeda could ground every commercial flight in the USA by scribbling a vague word on sick bags?
