Hmmm? Did The Iraqi Insurgents Take A Break For The DNC?
For the two weeks preceeding the DNC, it seemed there was a major roadside/car bomb etc attack daily, with our troops and civilians dying left and right.

This week, nada.

Why is that?

Coalition troops and interior ministry forces will assist authorities in protecting the three-day event. As a reminder of the type of dangers they face, a mortar barrage pounded a neighborhood near the enclave holding the U.S. Embassy and Iraqi government offices hours before Tuesday's announcement, killing an Iraqi garbage collector and wounding 14 U.S. soldiers.

4. Another chance for an October Surprise?
The day Kerry accepts the nomination maybe insurgents will attack soldiers and Iraqis making Bush say "Remember, we are at war".

OR

The day Bush accepts the nomination maybe insurgents will attack soldiers and Iraqis making Bush say "Elect Bush and he will continue the war on terror".
