2. But why is an actor/screenwriter a guest on these shows? |
|
They can't find a Dem operative or "journalist"? Seems they have no shortage ot RWers on these types of shows. With more "impressive" credentials.

and since we can't control who is on, why not enjoy it when we get a windfall?
Even DeeDee Myers sounds like a wishy-washy on this segment.
He used the words, agitprop, specious and abrogated. I think I love him.

The RW media props up it's RWers, that seems to be the only constant.
Good catch. Do you think President Clinton's funeral will stop everything on cable for a WEEK?

on a politics (FAR-RWer hosted) talk skank Mathews sho..? He is a Democratic ACTIVIST as well. Should movie people be deprived of , disallowed speaking because they are famous?
Democrats in movie biz are all of the highest talent and intelligence...many greatly articulate. Past history reflects this as well as contemporary with greats Gregory Peck James Cagney --list then & now far too long. Who are Repubs.. the least gifted, the least contributions.
I love Affleck. His sensibilities..intelligence resonate in all his roles.

|
Articulate, on-message, photogenic, and incredibly impressive. As much as I dislike his recent acting efforts, he's a great spokesman for John Kerry and the Democratic Party. Hmmmmm.....come to think of it, why do I dislike Affleck so much? He's a Sox fan, a Democrat, a John Kerry supporter, he had sex with J-Lo, and Chasing Amy was a great movie. Maybe I've been too hard on ole Ben....

I'm not starstruck in the least, but he really impressed me! It's so wonderful to listen to someone truly articulate, with an impressive vocabulary and a finely-honed ability to communicate -- and not have anyone asking him to apologize for it.
I think, bottom-line, that's what I really dislike the most about Bush -- his aggressive anti-intellectualism. He's the dumb jock in HS who, rather than actually study, makes fun of the smart kids...

I live in LA, we can see these people on the street (OK, rarely, but it is LA law you don't act like you see them).
What a vocabulary. David Gergen even complimented him on his excellent command of the English language. You don't hear George getting those strokes.

41. He let O'Liarly get away with more lies when he appeared with O'Liarly |
|
Edited on Tue Jul-27-04 07:18 PM by aint_no_life_nowhere
First, O'Reilly said that France was scamming in the oil-for-food program. The Liar always forgets to mention the CBS 60 Minutes program which verified that US oil companies were the ones paying Saddam extra amounts under the table for his oil, with which he was building palaces. Secondly, the Liar said that Al Zarqawi was living in Baghdad. Al Zarqawi was operating in the Kurdish regions of Iraq before the war, with Islamist Ansar al-Islam. They were beyond the reach of Saddam Hussein. I think Ben Affleck should have punched out the fucking liar and let him and American know why.

Is Ben perfect? Hardly, but he has the guts to go on O'Lielly's stupid turd fest and the will power not to strike him, like you and I would if we had the chance.
Bill lies so fast and so often, I don't know how anyone would get a word in edge wise.
