5. Judy Woof Woof is so sad

I was watching C-Span yesterday and she was talking about the interview that she did with Jimmy Carter. She said that Jimmy had told her that the White House had lied to the American people. Then she said to Greenfiels or whoever she was talking to in a tone as if she was incredulous - absolutely could not believe that Carter had said this-
"when I challenged him on it" he said that he really believed that.

Not "when I questioned him further," or "when I followed up," but "WHEN I CHALLENGED HIM..."
