How about the Mo Rocca effect on CNN?
He kind of adds the right context of inanity to the commentary. I love it. Tucker is confused as he sees the future pasing him by.

5. Stauncy starchy Tucker thought he was the new kid on the block
now he sees someone younger and fresher who actually has some schtick.

14. Tucker is a shill...He's worse than Novak.
Tucker's mock sincerity is disgusting. WHo does he think he's fooling?

He should be on FOX.

13. that may be true..
But he does deliver his humor and observations with such a touch that invites people to get interested.

While he may be a repub, he doesn't seem to attack the dems more than the repubs; which is so typical for media repub observers.

17. Actually,
I didn't think he was one. I was replying to a comment left to me, stating even if he was that he didn't seem biased.

3. I love when they'd add him to panels on their morning shows...
the other panelists would look extremely baffled as he rattled on...

4. Actually, I think Mo is mostly a miss

he needs the context of The Daily Show and someone who is really
really good at the deadpan humor baffled host thing - like, say,
Jon Stewart.

Where he is here, the rest of the group don't know if he is being
funny or straight and they can't feed him lines...

He has taken on a difficult gig...and he is pulling it off.

He is really making the stuffed shirts squirm.

Seperating the re3ally good guys from the pretenders.

Go Mo!

Then again I've never been much for the Bob Hope type of humor.

10. Bob Hope was the only one
that thought Bob Hope was funny.

Mo doesn't laugh at his own jokes. The comparison is laughable. BH was never as fascile, or subtle at times, as Mo.

And his comedy consists of Bumblefuck, Indiana comedy club schtick. That's all there is. There's not an original bone in his body.

12. I love Mo Rocca.
Although I'll admit he's an acquired taste. I always relish how he utterly confuses the panel of whatever show he's visiting with his inane references.

21. The FCC should fine CNN for this guy's crap alone
It's like sending a clown to cover a serious event. Why is that acceptable? Will we be allowed to send the guys froim Queer Eye to the GOP convention to suggest wardrobe changes? Extreme makeovers? Maybe we could get Anna Nicole to cover the event.

34. Mo's problem is that he's got awful "straight men" to work with
The other talking heads can't begin to feed him good lines to work off of. So it leaves him often up in the air having to carry his segments.
