Are ratings calculated for C-Span? |
|
I'd sure love to know how many people are watching gavel-to-gavel coverage on C-Span as opposed to cable news. Maybe the other organizations would realize they need to change the way they cover the conventions!

I wouldn't have it any other way. I don't need to jump to a talking head to tell me what I should feel about what I just witnessed. This is news the way it should be. Raw, unedited, and unfiltered.

I convinced my mom to watch it, although she told me she actually likes commentary (but then she said I was smart and she didn't follow politics like I did and couldn't afford to go without the commentary). So that's two more.
I don't need Bill O'Reilly talking over Jimmy Carter, or CNN tripping over itself to place Republicans on my TV screen.

and saw Clinton speak at the Le Madrid(Sp?)college, then back to C-Span1 to watch DNC... And there is no Chris Mathews mouth to have to hear.

I NEVER watch Faux. And lately, CNN has been such a Faux wannabe that it's a channel I avoid accordingly. MSGOP has its obvious problems, but it is at least possible to cherry-pick their line-up for "alternative" viewpoints.
Still, C-SPAN is the way to go for unfiltered, gavel-to-gavel coverage of the DNC.
And for latest breaking news, there's no place like DU.
I also enjoy News World International.
