I'm not watching the cable news.

I just can't believe anyone would even care.

What are we, fucking fifth graders here or what?

If anything it just shows ya how desperate the pigs are.

1. "What are we, fucking fifth graders here or what?"
Yup. And it's a sad sad thing.

I can't imagine this level of discourse even ten years ago.

3. I agree that is unbelievable
Tucker Carlson was calling him a sperm on Cross Fire today. Some guests on the shows were saying Kerry is not president and he must not promote a silly image that will be at odds with potential voters. I guess he has some what of a points , but my god who the hell really votes based on photos of the candidates.

5. It's absolutely pathetic
and the only silver lining I can see is that it's revealing these fuckwads for what they truly are -- people who are paid to bash the Democrats. Whores.

2. I don't see anything wrong with the clean suit pic
He went to a NASA facility, had to wear the suit. He's smiling pretty. What's the big deal? I don't think it's goofy or dorky at all, but then maybe I'm goofy and dorky.

4. Actually, Larry King and Aaron Brown stomped on it today
Aaron called it 'much ado about nothing' and King shut down Tucker Carlson with : 'but that's what everyone wears there. Why is it a big deal?'

6. Ya know despite GeeW touting the Mars mission
apparently he's never had the interest or curiousity to go down there and check the place out himself. Well, in a few months GeeW won't be President and he won't have the opportunity anymore.

13. Mr. Let's Go To Mars Bush was too lazy to visit Houston NASA
AS THE GOVERNOR OF TEXAS!! That is a knockout Democratic response. Kerry has the interest and the energy to do on-site tours and learn. Dimson is too busy hanging out with criminals like Ken Lay and too insipid to have any interest.

7. I'm sick of this shit.

If Kerry had not worn the suit, they'd be calling him an elitist pig who feels he's too good for the rules and didn't want to wrinkle his thousand-dollar suit.

The fact is, they're smearing Kerry with this ridiculous crap because there's nothing else to hit him with, but they've got their talking points with Rove, so they're trying to turn a little flatulence into screaming diarrhea.

8. If the press happened upon the pix-but the RNC/GOP actually sent out
in their daily blast fax to the media these pix...that is the most outrageous thing about it...

But I really don't see the big deal about the photos...he was visiting a place that required him to wear it....did it make him look dorky - yes, but who wouldn't have looked dorky and if he had refused, then he would have been criticized for being "elitist"...I'm sorry, but comparing it to the Dukakis photo in the tank is ridiculous....I can think of atleast 300 photos I've seen on the DU (and that's excluding anything "photoshopped") that are photos of Bu$h looking about as stupid as they come....does the DNC go blasting those out daily? Frankly, while I realize they are trying to conduct a "clean and positive" campaign, I wish they would blast those photos of George W. daily - picking his nose, falling off of things, stumbling etc....

9. Mary Beth Cahill fights back
Kerry aides quickly responded, noting that NASA had required Kerry to wear the suit and sharing pictures of Bush wearing matching kimonos with Australian Prime Minister John Howard during a summit, picking his nose at a baseball game and leading a cheer at Yale.

11. Ha! That's great....maybe they should send out daily pix of Shrub like
that....let the media talk about those, or maybe they would get the idea and the media would stop the "chatter"...

12. NBC said this morning they were putting it in a commercial
Said Bush* is at the pig farm making commercials, and they were also making a commercial with the Kerry picture. If this is true, I will be sending out all the dumbass Bush* pictures to everyone I know. I've been saving the pictures posted on DU in a special folder, so I have a bunch of them.

16. I see it as a sure sign
of desperation on the behalf of the extreme right. This is so childish and silly, is this the best they can do? The fact that the corporate media readily pushed it has convinced many of the fact that they are nothing more than a propaganda arm of the rethug party. I hope they are ready cause we're coming and boy are we PISSED!
