from today's Charlotte Observer (7-28)
---------------------
Don't make light of document theft
Isn't the removal of property belonging to another without permission theft? What was the value of the documents stolen by Sandy Berger? How can the Observer make so light of this crime, a crime that very well might have been committed to hide the terrible facts that link the Clinton administration to advance knowledge of the threat to the World Trade Center?
Are you so intent on fooling the voters into electing the worst two men who ever held office that you seek to hide the facts?
John E. Lane
Charlotte
---------------------
that's right ... according to John E. Lane of Charlotte, John Kerry and John Edwards are the "worst two men who ever held office" ... um, hyperbole much?

3. Astroturf = fake grass |
|
The RNC puts out letters with their talking points and emails them to toadies in cities across the country. The toadies print them out and sign their names to them. Astroturf letters are mass produced, fake grassroots letters.
The RNC has even done this to soldiers in Iraq, signing their names without their permission.
Disgraceful.

I don't know whether this is one of those letters or not, but there are plenty of people around here ignorant and hateful enough to have written it on their own
