1. I only became a parent a couple of years ago, but it absolutely kills me

to see images like the one of the woman huddled with her children. There's blood on the shirt of one of the kids, too.

It just makes me want to cry....seriously. How can we justify doing this stuff to innocent people and then DARE to announce to the world that we are doing God's work?

Thank you for those images. This kind of image should be the lead off story and occupy the first half of every nightly news broadcast on every channel. It should be on the front page of every newspaper. Because this is the most important news story of the day -- the madness of war that those criminals in Washington have unleashed on the world, the suffering and the vast question of whether the United States shall become an empire, as the criminal cabal openly calls for, or whether it shall be a democratic republic.

But it is not represented in our media, which has reduced the war to cryptic announcements of "two marines killed" or "a powerful bomb went off in Karbala today, killing 50 Iraqis." That's it from those cowards at CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC and even the New York Times and Washington Post.
