CEO Pay Hikes Double in 2003
http://money.cnn.com/2004/07/28/news/economy/ceo_pay/index.htm?cnn=yes

The CEO's at the nation's largest companies saw their raises more than doubled in 2003 as the median raise handed out by S&P 500 companies to their top executives was 22.18 percent, according to a study by The Corporate Library.

===snip===

This one goes out to all the people out there who thought I was crazy for thinking that CEOs would continue to be allowed to raise their own salaries despite a flailing economy. Never underestimate the greed of big business and investors.

1. Thank God
I was afraid those guys were going to go broke. Now they can "trickle down" all of that wealth to the little guy like all the Republicans hope. We've sure seen evidence of that happening lately. Haven't we?

2. lol, except they already had more money than they could spend
so why would they spend the increase either? Fantastic critical thinking once again by repugs.

3. Oh, gosh, I feel better now
I was feeling so guilty about the 2% raise I'm getting next month on my pension. My guilt was somewhat alleviated by the fact that ALL my insurance premiums are going up--health, auto, homeowners, etc., so that means my net gain will be a loss. My fault, though, for not being rich. Thanks, Repubs. You're all compassionate conservative heart!

Bush Must Go!!!
