Apologies if this has been discussed
I checked back five pages and did not see it. Was very under the weather yesterday and missed DU terribly after what I thought was an incredibly exciting first night of the Convention. I went to bed being so proud and thinking Bush is done, the Dems were brilliant to make this Convention "positive" and uplifting with the message of "hope". All the Repubs got is fear and negativity - and I believe the contrast is going to be enormous.

So in that vein - what were all the Bush/Cheney 04 signs/people doing behind where MSNBC set up? How'd they get in? I was really looking to see what I thought was going to be a fight as Kerry/Edwards people were trying to cover the Bush/Cheney signs - some pushing. Last night there were even more. My thought was that the guys holding them looked like young little rich punk kids and I thought those dumbasses are supporting the guy who is going to send them to war, but then as the Convention progressed, I realized what truly pathetic losers those guys were - and they looked like losers. I was wishing someone would hold up a big L on their forehead and point to those guys. Just typical Republican dirty tricks as usual. Even after the violin rendetion of Amazing Grace played in rembrance of 9/11 - the dumbasses were still holding up their sign. Seemed beyond disrespectful. At first it pissed me off, but then I found it amusing. Pathetic in its desperation. Just wondered if this had been discussed. Thanks.

1. It was definately worse last night
there was one point where someone trying to hold up a "Nurses For Kerry" sign was being literally pushed around and kept out of the picture by the 7 or 8 Bush sign people.

The whole thing just seemed so spiteful and bitter, I hope they quit letting people stand back there at all.

2. Exactly
I was wondering if DU had a mass campaign to write into MSNBC or something. After they took down their signs laster in the show they were smoking cigeretees (not that there's anything wrong with that) - but holding them up like they were cool - hey, look at me, I can smoke - and giving the the so-called devil sign. They looked ridiculous. If that had been my kid...... well it wouldn't have been because I raised mine to be a polite adult.
