Take action: Email Whorge Stephanopoulos about the "stabilization" of Iraq
Last Sunday, Whorge Stephanopoulos declared that Iraq had stabilized. Today, an explosion in Iraq killed roughly 68 people.

We need to tell the most vocal mediawhores to stop whoring for the Bush administration.

Email Whorge Stephanopoulos and tell him to start doing his job...

1. You can email all you want....
but like Michael Moore said in F911, "WHO'S YOUR DADDY?" Meaning, the media whores will do whatever they have to keep the money coming in and to make Bush happy for those important tax cuts/breaks....who's your daddy?

2. I am so absolutely disgusted by all the "mediawhores" I don't even compose
messages anymore. I just send them. They don't read them carefully anyway (if at all...).
This is what I sent:
How could you say (last Sunday) that Iraq is stabilized? Working as a corporate "mediawhore" has blinded you to reality and made you forget that you are an American citizen first and a "mediawhore" second?
Please read the news. American soldiers are still being killed in Iraq (and the numbers are no fewer in July than in June) but for Iraqis this war was literally MURDER. About 68 Iraqi PEOPLE (yes, Virginia, Iraqis ARE people) got killed yesterday. If you can call this stabilized, you are an ignorant idiot of a paid government apologist. Either way, you should not be allowed on OUR airwaves (yes, George, the American people own the airwaves...)

3. Come on ya deadbeats! Tell the media to shove it already.
It takes mere seconds to give the mediawhores a piece of your mind.

4. I emailed him
and asked how he could make such a statement based upon the facts. 2 US troops were also killed today, and more then 100 Iraqi civilians over the past several days.

5. I asked him if it was in any way possible
for him to be embarrassed about his Iraq is stabilizing
comment.

6. my email
Dear Mr. Stephanopoulos,

Sixty-eight people were killed in Iraq today. Do you still think the situation is stabilized?
There is a young man from my church who is a member of the PA National Guard. He has been in Baghdad for months and will be there months longer. Peace keeping is not what he was trained for. If he comes back in a coffin he is going to be just as dead in this new "stabilized" Iraq as he would have been if he had been killed during combat operations.
Is spinning for the corporate war machine really worth your integrity? Fifty four percent of the American public now thinks the war was not worth fighting. It's now safe to question the Bush administration. We need the media to stand in for us and get the information we need to make decisions. Please, stop selling us out.
